One of the most sought-after values in Bordeaux, Chateau Marjosse is the personal vineyard of Pierre Lurton, Managing Director for Cheval Blanc and d’Yquem.
The 2019 red Marjosse is made up of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc with a splash of old vines Malbec from his personal estate close to Saint Emilion. Rich, deep and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2019 is incredibly appealing.
We’re also offering his delicious Sauvignon, Semillon blend. Pierre dialed back the production and it’s paid huge dividends with the quality of his “little wines”. Both Antonio Galloni and Robert Parker have called this a must buy.
