In 2018 — a pivotal year marking the estate’s first vintage under organic farming — the entire harvest of Marsau was dressed by designer Ronan Bouroullec. What began as a one-time encounter between the designer’s sensitive universe and the spirit of this singular wine soon became something more enduring. The desire to continue this dialogue, to allow the aesthetic experience to live on, emerged naturally. In November last year, in a limited edition, Marsau presented the final bottles of the 2019 vintage, adorned with three new and unique drawings by Ronan Bouroullec — three perspectives on Marsau: pure, vibrant, and almost meditative forms that mirror the wine’s clarity and the tranquil strength of its landscape. This edition unites two crafts — that of the winegrower and that of the artist — in a shared pursuit: to reveal and feel the beauty of what is simple, true, and essential.
