2020 Monteci Amarone Classico 6pk

93 Points – Vinous

The 2020 Amarone Classico della Valpolicella opens with an airy freshness, mixing dried black cherries with autumnal spices and sage. It is silken in feel with depths of ripe red and black fruits complicated by hints of cocoa and clove. This 2020 tapers off unexpectedly fresh yet long, leaving a web of sweet tannins that frame the experience nicely.
