Frédéric and Emmanuel Humbert have been running the family estate since 1989. The two brothers cultivate seven hectares in Gevrey-Chambertin , in the pure tradition of the great Pinot Noirs and the great winegrowers of Gevrey: Dugat, Rousseau, Mortet, Charlopin... The Humbert estate only produces Pinot Noir harvested near the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation in village appellations, premier crus and a grand cru: Charmes -Chambertin . The estate's wines have a pronounced and solid colour, the result of a longer extraction, which gives them a density and power characteristic of the great Pinot Noirs of the Côte de Nuits. All of the estate 's wines reveal themselves perfectly after a few years of aging. The Humberts, who are typically among the earliest pickers in Gevrey-Chambertin and are known for their precise wines.
