Castello di Neive Barbaresco DOCG

This is a lovely, classically-perfumed Barbaresco. The nose is fairly generous and quite pretty with strawberry/raspberry fruit, some vanilla, florals, oregano and bay leaf. There is slight jammy-dried red fruit flavours on the palate, like cherry compote, with a gentle herbal tinge. Excellent with many red and white meat, first courses and cheese.
